  • Conversion of a 6 bedroom Semi Detached House into an 8 Bedroom HMO with Self-Contained Flat on the Ground Floor.

Great location as market demand was high for professional living. Hospitals, Schools and Transport link on the doorstep. Free parking on driveway and around the house.

Work carried out on the interior was new kitchen, new bathrooms and new studio flat. Landscaping works to the front and rear of the building.

At first we mixed Serviced Accommodation with the long term tenants, which worked reasonably well. However we learnt that there were a few difficulties in the logistics. How do you ensure short term tenants keep the same standard of cleanliness and compliance as the long term tenants? The answer is, you can’t. In fact it was quite irritable for the tenants to see new faces on a weekly basis. Almost as if people were intruding in their house.

So we decided to stick with a pure HMO producing a very healthy cash-flow.
