Commenced by practicing criminal law, only to find out that crime didn’t really pay, Haha, Just Kidding. Although, I did later change course to commercial Law, then to contract and finished off with Human Rights. Most of it was all defence work for SME’s and FTSE 100’s. So I was cash rich, but time poor. Ended up taking the kids to the office to play around with the vending machines, even on the weekends!
I was advised by my Father decades ago to invest partly in property, but as a 20 year old, I knew better! Thus pursued the stereo typical path to LAW!
2 decades later, here I am, eating humble pie.”
“Hola Amigos, (My mum’s not Spanish, I just love the culture, cuisine and music)! Where to begin? Dad cajoled me into following the professional accountancy route at KPMG. Oh, what a wonderful time I had for 2 years, jet setting around the UK, hotel to hotel, client to client, photocopier to photocopier…I was lovin’ the audit life!
Then the honey moon period expired and reality sank in, that I was just another brick in the wall. Employment really isn’t for me.
Thus, made the bold decision to tell my dad that I couldn’t take this corporate bull anymore! He took one look at me, and said, “Back you go, winners never quit and quitters never win”. So I pretended to continue with the 9 to 5, until dad found out 2 months later I had set up my own business and moved into Sales & Marketing.”
“I wasn’t even aware Sara was doing the strategy of Serviced accommodation and rent to rent in London, whilst I was using the HMO model in Birmingham. She came up to the Midlands one weekend and we discussed our vision, mission and values for hours. Only to realise they were aligned!
Therefore, we decided to join forces in September 2018 and it’s been downhill skiing since.”

As much as I love “Hussain and son”, it just doesn’t do it for us.
I truly believe that if you want to go somewhere fast, go alone, but if you want to go really far, go together. Nobody’s ever achieved anything unilaterally.
Co-operation, collaboration and camaraderie exponentiate results. Dad immediately suggested this French saying that he came across whilst travelling in France a few decades ago. As soon as I looked up the definition, I fell in love.
